The disaggregated cell site gateway (DCSG) AGCV208S provides 300G switching capacity while the AGC7008S provides 120G bandwidth in applications.

Both platforms come with the same form factor for indoor and outdoor installation with wide operation temperatures in a fully equipped 1RU box with a wide array of connectivity options including 1G, 10G, 25G and 100G. The gateway includes multiple time injection interfaces such as 1PPs, 10 MHz, GPS and BITS for boxes in different topologies and applications.

Delta said data traffic growth is pushing carriers and service providers to adapt a dis-aggregation model to meet requirements of the next generation of networks. The dis-aggregation of hardware and software helps to add new services and reduce capital and operation costs while reducing time to market.

The AGCV208S and AGC7008S are slated to become available in Europe, Russia, the Middle East and Africa at the end of 2019.

Delta will present the new gateways at the upcoming Telecom Infra Project Regional Summit in Amsterdam this week.
