Ganged triax connector for high-density triaxial interconnects

26 September 2019

Cinch Connectivity Solutions, a Bel group company, offers the new Trompeter ganged triax connector assembly. It ensures low mating force with high-quality mating. These connectors are based on the Trompeter 150 Series TRS subminiature triaxial connectors, commonly used in test and measurement applications. This type of high-density packaging (50 triax connections in a 2 in x 4 in package) enables the construction of custom-sized and custom-shaped multi-channel connector assemblies with channel counts from two to 50.

The Cinch Trompeter Ganged Triax is for applications that Source: Cinch Connectivity SolutionsSource: Cinch Connectivity Solutionsrequire high noise immunity, rugged construction options, extremely low current measurements, reduced cable losses and loading, and reduced distributed capacitance through the length of the transmission line.

Custom options for designing multi-channel connector assemblies that largely eliminate these modern challenges and allows even higher channel count precision current testing. Multiple connector assemblies, or blocks, can also be conveniently combined in space-constrained environments to increase the channel count to several hundred or more.
