Bluetooth Low Energy connectivity added to Samsung Galaxy Fit

26 July 2019

Samsung Electronics has integrated Dialog Semiconductor plc’s Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) into the latest Galaxy Fit fitness tracker.

The Galaxy Fit is a wearable that allows users to keep track of their fitness goals and also offers sleep analysis and stress management technology. The wearable uses Dialog’s DA14697 wireless microcontroller unit within Dialog’s DA1469x SmartBond line.

The DA1469x family offers high power, range and battery life for connected consumer applications such as fitness trackers and other wearable devices. The line is based on the ARM Cortex-M33 processor and is equipped with a sensor node controller (SNC) to conserve power that runs autonomously and wakes the application processor when needed. Additionally, a power management unit activates the different processing cores as required.

The 900 V platform is designed for use in bridgeless totem-pole power factor correction, half-bridge configurations used in DC to DC converters and inverters.

Happy Wheels 3D.
