The new LC5545DX programmable oscillator from Pletronics features low-voltage differential signaling (LVDS) logic, superior jitter performance and a low operating supply voltage at 1.8 V. This product is ideal for use in storage area networking, optical transceivers and other high-performance applications.
The oscillator utilizes state-of–the-art programmable technology and is available as either factory programmed or field programmable. The LC5545DX is based on an AT cut crystal and is a single chip solution, allowing the part to be programmed in frequencies up to 1.0 GHz.
The RMS jitter for 156.25 MHz from 12.0 KHz to 20.0 MHz is 160 Fs typical, making this oscillator ideal for applications with reduced jitter budgets. The new oscillator is available in frequencies from 15 MHz to 1.0 GHz with frequency stability options from ±-20ppm to ±50ppm and extended OTR -40° C to 85° C.
The part is available in both 3.2 mm x 5.0 mm and 5.0 mm x 7.0 mm package sizes and is offered as either tape or reel or cut tape packaging.
