Avnet Inc. and R&D content creator Not Impossible Labs have established a multi-year partnership to provide greater access to technologies that will boost the quality of life for people who lack access and opportunity.
The first part of the agreement will focus on Not Impossible’s Vibrotextiles — wearables with benefits that extend to areas such as health and wellness, entertainment, safety and communication.
VibroHealth is a wearable technology using vibration to improve quality of life for people affected by motor-related issues. The vibration technology will also be ported to music to create more inclusive and enhanced live music experiences for the deaf and hearing impaired.
Avnet will be the title sponsor of the Not Impossible Awards, which recognize and celebrate people, companies, technology and transformational innovation to bring positive change to global communities. Avnet will also support the first season of the podcast “Not Impossible,” which is a series that explores true stories of the impossible made not impossible.
Avnet will bring its ecosystem to the partnership including specialist Premier Farnell, Newark Element14, Hackster.io and Dragon Innovation to help reduce the time, cost and complexity of bringing products to market and take Not Impossible’s innovations to the masses.
