The message of a three-part online video series just released by gallium nitride semiconductor manufacturer GaN Systems is that new technologies for autonomous driving and vehicle electrification are moving the automotive industry toward a sustainable mobility ecosystem.

The rules of the game are changing for the 100-year-old industry, explains a company representative. As a result, an interrelated ecosystem of companies — particularly charging networks, renewable energy sources, data centers and manufacturing — must also evolve in order to support next-generation vehicles.

The series, called “The Mobility (R)evolution,” begins with an in-depth discussion of trends and technologies between GaN Systems CEO Jim Witham and BMW i Ventures Managing Partner Uwe Higgen.

The series is available to watch on Gan Systems’ video page as well as its YouTube channel.

What a great story this is. Interesting to hear from BMW and GaN Systems about sustainability in the automotive industry. Enjoyed hearing from both industry leaders.
