Avnet Inc. is ready to demonstrate its set of end-to-end internet of things (IoT) services that allow for the delivery of products to market through each stage of an IoT lifecycle.
Avnet will be demonstrating the services at the upcoming CES 2018 in Las Vegas on Jan. 9-12, 2018. These services include:
- IoT Advisory Services — Helps with roadmap strategies, business case development, audit and readiness assessments as well as proof-of-value workshops.
- IoT Device Design and Build Services — Helps developers overcome challenges related to design, manufacturing, technology selection and inventory management.
- IoT Cloud and Digital Services — Provides customers with support on cloud and analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning, web and mobile app development as well as digital tools.
- IoT Lifecycle Services — Helps the deployment of IoT solutions with services such as field installation and maintenance, device management, firmware and security updates.
“Because IoT projects are so different from conventional IT solutions, professional engineers, businesses and startups have struggled to incorporate IoT technology into their business models and ultimately into their products,” says Lou Lutostanski, Avnet’s vice president for internet of things. “To date, IoT adoption has been slowed by the complexity of the IoT ecosystem, which Avnet has addressed and simplified through these IoT services and our technology partnerships.”
In addition to showcasing these services, Avnet will unveil new strategic partnerships and display its capabilities through IoT solutions for industrial, retail and healthcare environments.
