Taoglas Creates New RF Filter Division

14 September 2017

At this week’s Mobile World Congress Americas, antenna house Taoglas formed a new RF filter division specifically targeting the internet of things (IoT) and mobile applications.

The RF filter division will seek to remove the frustrations for engineers quickly needing to source components for active antenna and electronic designs. The new division will feature a range of off-the-shelf filters for a variety of applications, including emerging license-free bands used for IoT, L1/L2 and L1/L5 global navigation satellite system (GNSS) applications.

The filters are manufactured in Taoglas’ production facilities in Taiwan and shipped worldwide available through the company’s standard distribution channels. Taoglas says it will use its experience in RF component design and manufacturing process to provide small form factor, cost-effective and easy-to-implement RF filters.
