ON Semiconductor (ON) has been named to the Arizona Republic’s 2016 Who’s Who in Business list, a collection of the most important Top 10 publicly held Arizona companies. In addition, the semiconductor vendor has been listed as having two of the highest-ranking women executives in the state.
ON says it has long been working to include diversity in order to strengthen the company’s core values. Now it is being recognized with Debbie Brogan, vice president of corporate program management, and Kimberly Appleton, vice president of global sales operations, as two of the top female executives in Arizona.
Under ON’s Women’s Leadership Initiative, the program has grown into a global one led and fostered by Brogan and Appleton, who sponsored the program in order to expand the inclusion of diversity outside of North America with kickoff events in Europe and plans for further growth in Asia.
“Our goal for ON Semiconductor’s Women’s Leadership Initiative is to facilitate networking for a diverse and inclusive group that promotes our company’s core values, while providing the tools needed to succeed in today’s business world,” says Brogan.
ON has also launched a new diversity and inclusion initiative in the U.S. sponsored by the company’s Senior Leader Diversity and Inclusion Council, which will include workplace inclusion, workforce diversity and community partnerships.
