Noting that the TL46-WJ Low Jitter detects any critical mark at speeds up to 400 m/min, Datalogic rates the new offering as the fastest and most accurate contrast sensor available. The device features a 50 kHz operating frequency and an extremely-low 7µs of jitter. According to the company, the reliable RGB emission and the sensor's rectangular spot allow it to read any kind of critical contrast in any industrial printing application, including when working with transparent and shiny backgrounds.
Datalogic considers the TL46-WJ Low Jitter contrast sensor ideal for applications in flexographic printing machinery, high-speed packaging applications machinery, and high-accuracy offset lithographic printing. Designed for use in industrial environments, the sensor boasts a rugged aluminum housing and features double insulation for protection against electrostatic shock to deliver high accuracy and high speed for many years.
