The deal will extend the relationship between the two companies as BMW already features TomTom in many of its cross car-line as part of its Connected Driver program. TomTom’s Traffic PND covers all mapped roads in 48 countries and combines data from millions of sources to deliver accurate traffic information, the company says.
TomTom says its Traffic PND helps BMW drivers avoid traffic delays and eases the burden of everyday commuting around the world.
