Distributor America II Electronics has entered into a franchise distribution agreement with CEC Panda Crystal Technology Corporation, a manufacturer of quartz-based timing devices used in telecommunications, automotive, consumer electronics equipment and other systems.
Under terms of the agreement, America II will have global distribution rights to CEC Panda’s entire portfolio of quartz-based timing devices including crystal resonators, clock oscillators, TCXO, VCXO, OCXO and monolithic quartz filters. Their products are used in wireless, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, IoT, GPS, and microprocessor-supported applications.
Liang Sheng Yuan, president at CEC Panda Crystal Technology Corporation, said America II’s global footprint will help his company expand into new regions and reach new customers. “It also paves the way for America II to have access to other products manufactured by Huadong Technology, the parent company of CEC Panda,” he said
America II, which has been an independent distributor for years, has been increasing its number of franchise lines. It has franchise distribution agreements with about two dozen component manufacturers and plans to add 60-70 more in 2015.
“We’ve been truly focused on delivering quality franchise lines to our customers around the world,” said Brian Ellison, president of America II. “Our partnership with CEC Panda illustrates our commitment. CEC Panda is a great addition to our line card and will enable our customers to drive IoT to the next level,” said Ellison.
America II, based in St. Petersburg, Fla., has 4 billion components in stock including semiconductors, passives and electromechanical components, said Ellison .
CEC Panda is a crystal oscillator manufacturer headquartered in Nanjing, China. It has three production sites.
