Catalog distributor Mouser Electronics has signed a globaldistribution agreement with Digi International and will carry the company’s complete portfolio of wireless products, including embedded system-on-module and RF radio module solutions, wireless components and RF modems among other components.
Kevin C. Riley, senior vice president of global sales for Digi International, said Mouser's focus on the rapid introduction of new products and technologies and its commitment to providing online tools for design engineers “ensure our products will be readily available to customers.”
Russell Rasor, vice president of supplier management for Mouser, said Digi International's wireless products are helping drive the growth of the Internet of Things.
"With our focus on the design-in and prototyping stages of the design cycle, we now have a better way to fulfill demand for this technology across the globe with Digi'sinnovative products,” he said.
Mouser also announced it has signed a distribution agreement with Advantech and will carry the company’s line of single-board computers and Ethernet, analog and digital I/O modules among other products in the Americas and Europe. Rasor said Mouser’s agreement with Advantech provides state-of-the-art solutions to Mouser’scustomers throughout the Americas and Europe.
Al Zelasko, Advantech’s director of channel sales, said his company’s partnership with Mouser will offer Advantech an opportunity to expand its customer base and better serve existing customers.
He added that Mouser’s expertise in technology, product introduction, ecommerce, and distribution “will be a great asset to Advantech’s growing embedded product lines.”
Under the agreement, Mouser is stocking a wide selection of Advantech products, including a line of 3.5 inch MI/O Compact Single Board Computers (SBCs).
