Future Electronics Signs Distribution Agreement With ECS

12 May 2014

Distributor Future Electronics has signed a new worldwide distribution agreement with ECS, Inc., a manufacturer of frequency control devices.

ECS makes a comprehensive line of frequency control products including crystals, oscillators, resonators, filters, and TCXO/VCXO, for industrial, medical, automotive, lighting, security, and telecom applications.

“We are pleased to have Future as another sales channel for our growing customer base," said Brad Slatten, president and CEO of ECS. He added that ECS focuses on customer service which is one reason ECS decided to partner with Future.

“This is a great addition to our already broad distribution network," he said.

Heather Goldsmith, director of electromechanical product marketing for Future, said the distributor will work with ECS to “increase their capture rate on production-scale business. Future will also provide tailored supply chain solutions” to ECS, she said.

Future is based in Montreal and ECS is headquartered in Olathe, Kansas with production facilities in Korea, China and Japan.
