A tool for multi-gas analysis

24 June 2026

A rack-mountable Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) gas analyzer for multi-gas analysis has been developed by Finland-based Gasmet. The system is applicable to changing process conditions and facilitates complying with continuous or repeated measurement requirements.

The GT7000 Tellus system enables simultaneous measurement of up to 50 gases from a gas library which Source GasmetSource Gasmet encompasses 500 quantifiable and 5,000 identifiable gases. This measurement capability is based on Gasmet FTIR technology, with performance validated through EN15267‑4 QAL1 certification of the GT6000 Mobilis platform.

Applications for the GT7000 Tellus include process gas analysis, emissions monitoring, laboratory testing and validation, combustion research, carbon capture and carbon dioxide purity monitoring, and air quality monitoring in confined spaces in safety applications.

Measurement setups can be configured through software without hardware changes, as the rack-mountable format enables installation alongside other instruments as part of a broader measurement scheme. Analytical conditions can also be defined with selectable temperatures, optical path lengths and pressure compensation options.
