IMS 2026: Advancing RF switching performance for next-gen platforms

01 June 2026

At IMS Boston, Menlo Micro will showcase its Ideal Switch technology, spanning PCIe Gen 6 and emerging PCIe Gen 7 platforms, which are being adopted across radio frequency (RF), high-speed digital and power markets where conventional switching approaches introduce system-level tradeoffs.

Key application include:

• Test, measurement and RF front-end systems (MM5800): increasing measurement throughput and improving repeatability in compact system architectures with broadband performance from DC to 70 GHz

• High-speed data validation (MM5627, up to 80 Gbps+): enabling significantly higher data throughput and signal integrity in dense interconnect environments

• Quantum and cryogenic systems (MM4250): drastically reducing cycle time through faster measurement reconfiguration and improved test efficiency

• A&D platforms (MM5130-03NLX): enabling higher system capability within SWaP-constrained designs with improved operational robustness.

These requirements span applications including RF test and measurement, artificial intelligence (AI) GPU and HPC validation, quantum instrumentation and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) platforms, where switching performance translates directly into higher system efficiency, superior linearity, improved performance consistency, and greater capability within constrained size and power requirements.

Visit Menlo Micro at IMS Boston during June 7 to June 12, booth #13044, to discover Ideal Switch applications across AI compute, quantum, RF and aerospace systems.
