The advantage of an infrared motorized zoom camera is obvious: no time‐consuming lens changes, but fast and stepless adjustment to a wide range of object distances and sizes are possible. The portfolio of infrared zoom cameras includes the cooled ImageIR 8300 Z and ImageIR 9300 Z models with 30 times high‐performance zoom lens and autofocus function, as well as the latest ImageIR 6300 Z zoom camera. This one is equipped with an integrated 7.5x zoom lens as standard, is lighter and smaller than its relatives, and is thus predestined for demanding applications in research and development as well as for stationary or airborne inspection and monitoring tasks.
