An improved format of electricity called “fault-managed power” is changing how technology systems are powered. The 2023 version of the National Electrical Code (NEC) includes New Article 726, which brings Class 4 power (also called fault-managed power systems, or FMPS) into the NEC for the first time.
This webinar provides a high-level overview of how Class 4 circuits are different from Class 1, Class 2 and Class 3 circuits, as well as the benefits of FMPS systems and how the NEC defines and classifies FMPS
