Global electronic distributor Digi-Key Electronics has celebrated its 50th year in business. The company will commemorate the milestone with a week-long celebration and events during the year.
The news comes after Digi-Key announced it added 550 suppliers in 2022 and more than 75,000 new SKUs to its core business. The distributor now has more than 2,400 suppliers for technology applications such as PCBs, industrial automation, test and measurement, internet of things and more.
The company also opened its 2.2 million square foot Product Distribution Center expansion (PDCe) in August of last year. The facility is one of the largest warehouses in North America and is designed to help Digi-Key’s long-term growth strategy.
