Newark has increased its range of batteries in stock

Newark, a division of Avnet, is now stocking a range of chargers and batteries from Zeus Battery Products in North America.

The expansion gives Newark users a complete selection of replacement batteries, chargers and power accessories with a range of options and optimized for either high-energy density or high-power density.

Zeus offers rechargeable battery cells designed for electric vehicles or electricity energy storage applications and many of the devices feature lithium iron phosphate chemistry for longer cycle life and calendar life. These rechargeable cells are low cost, high power, fast charging, safe and reliable, offering thermal stability, in addition to 2.8 V, 7.5 Ah with quick connect and more than 2,000 cycles at 100% DOD.

Zeus’ lead acid rechargeable batteries are manufactured in a variety of sizes and amp hour ratings. The sealed lead acid batteries can be discharged in any position due to their valve-regulated design. These batteries have improved ability to recover from deep discharge and are maintenance-free with low self-discharge, non-spillable, stable quality and high reliability offering 12 V, 7 Ah with quick connect and up to 260 cycles at 100% DOD.

Zeus’ desktop charger for lead acid batteries are lead-acid cells found in cars and back-up power systems. These sealed lead acid batteries are designed for portable energy devices and include over current protection, short circuit protection and reverse polarity protection.
