Electronic components manufacturer Omron has released new metal-oxide semiconductor field-effect transistor (MOSFET) relays in six pin small outline packages that achieve the low on resistance and high switching

The G3VM-31HR1 MOSFET relay delivers a continuous load current of 4.5 A and the G3VM-61HR2 MOSFET relay delivers a continuous load current of 4 A. The devices with surface mounting terminals support high speed switching and provide reliable performance under higher current and operating temperature conditions. Additional features include high speed switching and lower on-resistance than previous models.
Ideal applications for these relays include automated test equipment, semiconductor testing and HVAC systems.
Omron has also unveiled the G3VM-21MT MOSFET relay module featuring a T-type circuit structure. The compact, longer lifecycle solid state relay output signals using no physical contact, minimizing leakage current and allowing high-precision measurement. The module enables switching measurement signals in the test equipment used to perform electrical tests for semiconductor devices.
