Locate Motion has developed a wearable solution for people living with mental disabilities. The device helps caregivers keep track of the wearer's movements. The new tracker and watch, worn separately, have been designed to help keep challenged individuals safe and with their attendant.

Locate Watch is a durable, splash-resistant wearable that tells time, measures steps, monitors and alerts to activity and calls a preprogrammed emergency phone number at the push of an SOS button. It also features a GPS tracker and camera. With geo-fencing, two-way calling, up to three days of standby battery life and a dedicated mobile application, the system ensures that the wearer does not get lost.

Locate Tracker is a GPS tracker that can be attached to almost anything and it includes features like geo-fencing, alerts and extended battery life (80 hours standby). Locate Tracker also has a two-way communication system. In case a the wearer is confused or lost, the caregiver can calm them down and help guide them to safety. Users of this wearable technology have reported faster response times in cases of emergency.

These wearable devices have been designed while keeping scalability, functionality and affordability in mind. Along with the app, Locate Motion also has a web portal where large community-based organizations can manage and track the devices from an all-in-one platform.

Both Locate Watch and Locate Tracker are currently available in the U.S. and Canada. Learn more about these devices on the Locate Motion website.
