Newark Element14, a division of Avnet Inc., has introduced a new ARM-based development board designed to work with Xilinx’s Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC for machine learning applications.
The Ultra96 board is designed to offer a wide range of peripherals and features programmable logic acceleration engines. The board allows software developers to accelerate the use of artificial intelligence, machine learning, virtual reality, the internet of things and industrial control.
The board includes 1 GB of LPDDR4 RAM, 16 GB microSD card pre-loaded with embedded Linux OS, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2, mini DisplayPort, USB 3.0 Type Micro-B upstream port, USB 3.0 and 2.0 type A downstream ports, 40-pin low-speed expansion header, 60-pin high-speed expansion header and four user-controllable light emitting diodes (LEDs).
