Anti-gravity treadmill technology by AlterG has been released. The new treadmill uses patented DAP technology for unweighting therapy and training. A pressurized “anti-gravity” chamber can gently adjust body weight from 100 percent to 20 percent in 1 percent increments. The uniform lifting force reduces impact, pain and effort by reducing the barriers of mobility. This treadmill supports normal gait and balance and encourages full, free range of motion while preventing the person using it from falling.
The Fit Anti-Gravity Treadmill uses the same patented DAP technology in previous designs. The new treadmill has some improvements and is available at a lower cost. This brings the technology to a broader range of people. The Fit design achieves a lower step-up height than ADA requirements. The stairs are paired with an open-back cockpit design with light and easy height adjustment and inseam set-point measurements. A magnetized, snap-up air chamber closure lays flat for ease of entry. The new window design provides clinicians critical visual accessibility in a robust, functional design.
The all-new Fit from AlterG is the most affordably priced anti-gravity treadmill. The Fit offers treadmill speeds of 0-12 miles per hour and body weight adjustment from 100 percent to 40 percent for users 85 to 350 pounds. To learn more about the Fit Anti-gravity Treadmill, visit Alter G.
