The company will be demonstrating its portfolio of high-reliability, harsh-environment, medium- and high-power components, including advanced ceramic, tantalum and power film capacitors and supercapacitors.

The following are included among the products AVX will be presenting:

  • SCC series supercapacitors and SCM series supercapacitor modules designed to extend backup times, longer battery life and instantaneous as-needed power pulses in applications such as uninterrupted power supplies, camera flash systems, wireless alarms, remote metering equipment, GSM and GSR transmission systems, scanners, toys and games.
  • The ESCC QPL 3009 PME Series X7R SMT MLCCs that offer performance improvements over 200 V MIL-PRF stacked ceramic capacitors used in space launchers, satellite communications and the input/output filtering lines of space power supplies.
  • TRM professional series multianode, ultralow-ESR tantalum capacitors that address the expanding need for high-reliability, harsh-environment power filtering and storage application in the automotive, military, medical, aerospace and industrial markets.
  • The FHC1 and FHC3 series of power film capacitors that are designed to smooth and filter current and voltage variations and prevent ripple currents from reaching power sources to protect high-power-density inverters in automotive, industrial, medical, military, aerospace, consumer, communications and alternative energy applications.

APEC 2018 will take place at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas, March 4-8.
