The durability of industrial light fixtures has long been a source of problems for construction and maintenance workers in industrial and aerospace/defense industries. Also insufficient lamp life leads to burnouts and elevated lamp replacement costs. Due to their mercury content, fluorescent lamps can be complex and expensive to dispose of.

The Woodhead LED Tube Light solves these “life and end-of-life” issues. It can maintain 80% luminosity for 50,000 hours—almost double the average life of fluorescent lamps. In addition, replacing fluorescent lamps with LEDs eliminates the use of mercury in the fixture and the costs associated with mercury disposal.

The ballast-free Woodhead LED Tube Light comprises four four-foot LED T10 lamps, which shorten and lighten the fixture compared to a fluorescent fixture. A 16/3 SOOW output cord utilizes a NEMA 5-15 Watertite Connector with closure cap for enhanced durability on feed-through versions. The light comes with Velcro straps to enable custom mounting.
