Eno humanoid robot engineered to tackle everyday tasks

12 July 2026

A general-purpose robot designed to work across factories, labs, hotels, hospitals and homes has been developed by automation firm Genesis AI.

Eno combines custom hardware with Genesis AI’s GENE robotics foundation model, thereby enabling it to perform complex, multi-step tasks, adapt to changing environments and work with minimal human input. Unlike traditional industrial robots that follow fixed commands, Eno was designed as a physical AI agent capable of understanding goals, reasoning, retaining memory and autonomously completing tasks over extended periods.

Eno is mounted on a wheeled base and features robotic hands as well as an adjustable tower structure that enables the robot to adjust its height and reach or to fold into a more compact form when not in use.

Eno also features an optional built-in screen that displays the robot’s reasoning process, operational status and intended actions in real time, thereby improving transparency and helping people understand what the robot is doing while working alongside humans.
