Designed for next-generation space systems, the Mini AVIM PSt Adapter offers:

  • High power resistance: Tested up to 6 W at 167° F for 1,000 hours and 5 W at 185° F for 500 hours
  • Vibration and shock protection: Integrates the AVIM ratchet mechanism for reliable performance under mechanical stress
  • Lightweight construction: Titanium housing ensures minimal mass and maximum durability
  • Thermal management optimization: Enables effective heat dissipation under vacuum conditions
  • Space-grade compliance: Tested following ESA ESCC 3420/001 guidelines

Built to maintain optical stability under vibration, thermal cycling, and vacuum, the adapter is ideal for satellite platforms, optical payloads and space instrumentation requiring long-term reliability in extreme conditions.

“This innovation addresses the growing demand for robust, high-precision fiber optic components in satellite and aerospace systems,” said David Fanning, national sales and business development manager at DIAMOND USA Inc.

DIAMOND USA will showcase the Mini AVIM PSt Adapter and other advanced fiber optic solutions at the Small Satellite Conference 20. Attendees are invited to visit Booth #2344 to explore the company’s latest innovations and speak with experts about custom connectivity solutions for aerospace applications.
