Video: A glimpse into air travel’s future at CES 2025

14 January 2025

The largest air taxi vendor in China, Xpeng AeroHT, brought to CES 2025 its Land Aircraft Carrier, a mix of a minivan, or Cybertruck, but with an electric aircraft in the back.

The company unveiled the Land Aircraft Carrier back in September of 2024 where it billed it as a modular vehicle that would allow for conventional driving but then enable the air module to be launched to transport two people by air.

At CES, while only on display, the vehicle offered a glimpse at how personal air travel may evolve in the coming years with more air taxis, flying cars and a hybrid between the two go into production.
