Newark touts expansion of EV charging options

Newark, a division of Avnet Inc., has expanded its range of electric vehicle (EV) charging electronic components for those companies seeking to build new stations.

The company said it is offering new Eaton EV chargers as well as thousands of other electronic components from components and solutions from leading suppliers such as Aptiv, Harting, Molex, Omron, Schneider Electric and more.

The portfolio includes:

  • EV charging connectors and cables from Apriv and Harting
  • Automotive connector housing from TE Connectivity and Molex
  • EV rechargeable batteries from Omron and Eaton

“With the demand for electric vehicles growing by the day, it is essential for us to support our customers with the best selection of electric vehicle components and charging equipment,” said Cliff Ortmeyer, Global Head of Technical Marketing and Solutions Development. “Newark is proud to help get more electric vehicles on the road by being a one-stop-shop for the products needed to build and maintain electric vehicle chargers.”
