Mouser now stocking Menlo Micro switches

14 November 2022

Global distributor Mouser Electronics Inc. has signed a new distribution agreement with Menlo Micro to stock its switches for radio frequency (RF), microwave, millimeter wave (mmWave), AC/DC power solutions and more.

The Menlo Micro switches offer the benefits of both an electromechanical relay and a semiconductor switch with no compromises. The microelectromechanical systems (MEMS)-based switching devices are capable of withstanding extreme temperatures, boast ultra-low losses and can handle thousands of watts.

Called the Ideal Switch, it can be used for:

  • Test and measurement
  • Healthcare technology
  • Electric vehicle chargers
  • Smart switches and plugs
  • Internet of things (IoT)
  • Computing
  • Switch matrix
  • Wireless infrastructure
  • 5G networks

The product line from Mouser includes the MM5600 double-pole, double-throw differential switch; the MM5120 18 GHz single-pole, four-throw switch; the MM5130, a high-power SP4T RF switch for ultra-low insertion loss and superior linearity; and the MM5140, a DC-6 GHz RF SP4T switch that integrates a charge pump/driver circuit with flexible SPI and GPIO interface controls.
