Newark, a division of Avnet, is now stocking Rohde & Schwarz (R&S)’s MXO 4 series of oscilloscopes.
The instruments offer real-time update rates of more than 4.5 million acquisitions per second and allows engineers to see more signal detail and infrequent events than other tools, the company claims. This enables a better understanding of physical layer signals and faster testing.
Due to its 12 bit ADC, the R&S MXO 4 series has 16 times the resolution of traditional 8 bit oscilloscopes at all sample rates without any trade-offs. The electronic components also offer 200 Gbps processing ASIC for accelerated signal insights.
The devices feature a 13.3 inch full-HD capacitive touchscreen and a small footprint with very low audible noise, VESA mounting and rackmount kit for installation.
Other features include:
- 18 bit architecture
- Standard memory of 400 Mpts per channel
- Trigger rearm time of 21 ns
- Digital triggering technology
- Trigger of 1/10 000 div
- Trigger jitter of less than 1 ps
- Dual-path protocol analysis
- R&S SmartGrid user interface
