Newark Element14 stocking Aim TTi function/arbitrary generators

24 January 2019

Newark Element14, a division of Avnet Inc., is now stocking the TGF4000 series of function/arbitrary generators from Aim-TTi.

The series offers high precision, wide bandwidth models for increasingly high frequency and precision in test signals. The true dual channel generators have two full capability channels that can be operated independently as if they were two separate generators, or in coupled or tracking modes with precise channel-to-channel phase control at a resolution of 0.0010, the company said.

Other features include a high sine wave purity with low phase noise and jitter, audio band THD down to 0.05%, arbitrary waveforms of 14 bits or 16 bits, internal/external digital and analog modulation sets including sum modulation, harmonics generation using up to 16 harmonics, pseudo-random bit sequence (PRBS) generation with eight sequence lengths, a 125 MHz frequency counter/time with five measurement modes and a wideband noise generator with up to 100 MHz noise bandwidth.
