The kit is a design platform that combines an Intel system-on-chip (SoC) field programmable gate array (FPGA), peripherals and processor in one customizable chip. The device is based on the 28 nm Intel Cyclone V SoC FPGA which integrates dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 embedded cores. The memory, processor and peripherals are tied seamlessly with the FPGA fabric using a high-bandwidth interconnect backbone, Mouser says.

The DE10 Nano Kit includes two 40-pin general purpose input/output (GPIO) headers, one GByte of DDR3 memory, a 12-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC), Gigabit Ethernet networking and an HDMI transmitter.
