Ohmite Aiming for Near-term IATF 16949 Certification

The automotive industry quality standard ISO/TS 16949 was recently updated by the International Automotive Task Force (IATF). Ohmite Manufacturing (Warrenville, IL) plans to be IATF 16949:2016 certified by the first quarter of 2018.

Derran Smith, VP of Marketing for Ohmite stated, “The automotive industry uses international standards to ensure quality, safety and reliability in vehicle parts and assemblies. This certification will confirm Ohmite’s commitment to not only meet, but exceed its automotive customers’ demanding expectations.”

The IATF comprises automotive industry organizations from the United States, United Kingdom, Italy, Germany and France.
