A new lidar has been launched by Innoviz Technologies Ltd. at CES 2026 that is designed for lower power consumption and smaller form factor applications.

The InnovizThree lidar is a slimmed-down version and lower in price compared to the previous generation, the InnovizTwo. This allows the lidar to be integrated behind a windshield, in the front grille or on a rooftop of an automobile offering flexibility in designs for automotive OEMs, Innoviz said.

The automotive grade lidar can be used for autonomous systems and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). Innoviz said the lidar could also be used in platforms such as humanoids, micro robotics and drones.

The InnovizThree features include:

  • 600 grams in weight
  • Perception ranges beyond 250 meters
  • Low-power mode at 13 watts

“As the future of mobility unfolds with edge AI, real-time decision-making, and increasingly complex environments, Innoviz solutions will be there to deliver the speed, precision, and reliability that tomorrow's vehicles demand,” said Omer Keilaf, CEO and founder of Innoviz Technologies.
