28 March 2025

Smart home vendor Nanoleaf has unveiled PC gaming lighting that connects directly to a computer via a USB-C connector.

The lightstrip gives monitors up to 32 inches RBG lighting effects and allows for:

  • Real-time dynamic mirroring
  • Reacts to in-game events
  • Music sync

The lighting includes a zigzag design for installation against edges of any monitor and can be paired with Nanoleaf’s desktop app to select from over 16 million colors, lighting animations and personalized visual effects.

Due to the lightstrip being directly plugged into a computer, it can sync to songs via direct PC audio capture technology for real-time visualizations as well as set different moods through the Orchestrator mode inside the desktop app.

In the video, Nanoleaf runs through how the lightstrip is paired with plug-and-play setup and how to create custom desktop display. Users can also use the included physical controller to turn on/off the lightstrip.
