IPTE introduces Multi Test Handler for PCB testing and flashing

21 October 2024

IPTE, a leading provider of test automation solutions for electronics testing, has introduced the Multi Test Handler (MTH), engineered for simultaneous functional testing and flashing across up to eight positions, reducing cycle times and significantly boosting production capacity.

Being an inline, fully automated solution, the MTH eliminates human error, reduces labor costs and maximizes output. It ensures optimal performance and reliability through rigorous functional testing andSource: IPTESource: IPTE high-speed flashing up to 50 MHz. Its compact design starts at a length of just 1150 mm and can be easily expanded based on the number of test positions a customer requires. The MTH delivers a powerful 1,000 N press force at each test position, making it both efficient and space-saving. What sets it apart from its competitors is the ability to test PCBs with THT components, made possible by a 50 mm top clearance and 25 mm bottom clearance.

Designed with progressive automation in mind, each test position is an autonomous box. The design allows it to be seamlessly integrated into the IPTE range of manual handlers, drawer handlers and inline single handlers. Customers are afforded multiple options to reuse the valuable test hardware, ensuring a cost-effective investment with a high return on investment.

Experience this innovation and other advanced automation solutions for testing and manufacturing from IPTE at Booth A3.429 during Electronica 2024 in Munich, Germany, November 12 through November 15.
