Automated Logic will showcase its latest building automation solutions (BAS) at the Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration (AHR) Expo in Chicago from January 22 through January 24. These solutions help building managers operate their buildings more sustainably by reducing energy and operational costs while keeping occupants comfortable. Automated Logic, a provider of innovative building-management solutions, is a part of Carrier Global Corporation, global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions.
“Sustainable building practices are essential in today’s built environment, and building automation plays a critical role in meeting that need,” said Axel Reichert, president, Automated Logic. “We are proud to offer lifecycle solutions that help building operators meet their sustainability goals and reduce their carbon footprint.”
Featured solutions include the WebCTRL BAS, a powerful platform that provides facility managers with software tools to keep occupants comfortable, manage energy conservation measures and identify key operational problems. The WebCTRL system can be deployed on-premises or in the cloud.
The latest OptiFlex controllers for the WebCTRL BAS will also be on display. These controllers are fully programmable and can be used for a variety of HVAC and building control applications. They provide dual IP ports, ASHRAE Guideline 36 compliant algorithms, FDD capabilities and BACnet/IP support from the building to the zone level. The latest OptiFlex Integrators provide seamless integration to KNX, SNMP, N2 Open, BACnet and Modbus networks, enabling the WebCTRL system to be the single pane of glass for managing all systems in a building.
Data is the driver behind Carrier’s Abound suite of digital solutions, and visitors can see how the Abound offerings can track energy usage, increase system efficiency and streamline greenhouse gas data collection. Abound Predictive Insights uses this data to help reduce the total cost of asset ownership by enabling smarter, more predictive maintenance to optimize HVAC equipment health and performance.
Automated Logic will present in the AHR Expo New Product Theater on Monday, January 22 at 2:45 p.m. The presentation will feature the MQTT add-on for WebCTRL, which makes it fast and easy to publish data from the WebCTRL BAS to an MQTT broker — a standard component in cloud environments. Using the MQTT standard, the BAS data is contextually enriched for use by other enterprise-level applications to inform business decisions.
