Aspinity has introduced its new single board computer (SBC) for the development of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning applications. The company has also joined Renesas’ Preferred Partners Program.
Called the AB2 AML100 application board, the SBC accelerates power-constrained always-on AI products with the company’s AML100 analog ML processor and Renesas’ Quick-Connect internet of things (IoT) platform or other development platforms with an Arduino Uno Rev3 connector.
The companies will demonstrate the AB2 single board computer for the first time at the upcoming Embedded World 2023 where Aspinity will be in the Renesas booth, and the board will be paired with Renesas Quick-Connect IoT platform.
The board will be connected to Renesas’ EK-RA6M3 evaluation kit that will deliver low power, high accuracy glass break detection. Other features include:
- Near-zero power analog machine learning processor
- Power consumption of <45µA when in always-listening mode
- Extended battery life for glass break sensors
- Accuracy for critical security applications
Embedded World 2023 takes place in Nuremberg, Germany, on March 14-16.
