Wireless communications solutions save on level sensor installation
Reduce the cost and complexity of installing your inventory management system using BinMaster’s wireless systems. Easily programmable, compact devices replace wires with over-the-air technology. A simple point-to-point system eliminates the hassle of running wires. Point-to-multipoint systems are easily scaled for larger or more complex deployments using additional wireless units, base stations and wireless repeaters.
Point-to-point wireless bridge
Model: WR-30-TR
The WR-30-TR point to-point wireless bridge saves money and time by eliminating the need for running long spans of wire. It transmits data at distances up to 1 mi line-of-site outdoors or 500 ft indoors. The WR-30 is used in pairs, with a primary unit taking an analog, discrete or Modbus input signal and broadcasting it to a secondary WR-30 unit. The secondary unit can also send data back to the primary unit. The WR-30-TR arrives ready for power in a rugged, weather-tight housing. Antennas are attached to the unit or can be remotely located. Optional repeaters can be added if signal range needs to be extended or signals need to be routed around obstructions.
Point-to-multipoint wireless system
Model: WR-90-TR
The WR-90-TR is a point to-multipoint wireless bridge that eliminates the need for running wiring, saving time and reducing installation costs. These units are used with the WR-90-BA base station, which can be configured for a variety of inputs and outputs. The WR-90-TR accepts analog, discrete and Modbus inputs and wirelessly broadcasts them to the WR-90-BA base station. The WR-30-RP wireless repeater can be added if signals need to be routed around line-of-sight obstructions. This system configuration offers a highly flexible means of getting data from level sensors mounted on silos up to a mile away to a control room.
Wireless repeater
Model: WR-30-RP
The WR-30-RP wireless signal repeater is used to retransmit wireless signals when connectivity is an issue. They are used to reroute signals around permanent obstacles or to transmit signals over distances exceeding 1 mi. Used with either the WR-30-TR or WR-90-TR, they are easy to install, requiring only power and a network ID. Any wireless bridge in range of the repeater with the same network ID will retransmit through it, increasing signal strength.
Base station
Model: WR-90-BA
The WR-90-BA base station is used to custom configure a point-to-multipoint wireless system. This rugged, NEMA 4X control box offers a flexible means of wirelessly transmitting analog, digital or Modbus signals to a maximum of 32 WR-90-TR field units. Each base station can accommodate up to 16 dual input/output expansion cards. There are four types of modular input/output cards available: dual analog inputs, dual analog outputs, digital I/O and dual relays.
