Design Support Software
Have a design challenge at hand that requires passive components? Be sure to visit murata.com and utilize our “Simsurfing” design tool and “my Murata.”
Murata’s "SimSurfing" design tool provides design engineers a software tool for simulating the characteristics of numerous Murata products within their application criteria. Additionally, SimSurfing offers substantial search and filtering functionality along with performance graphs to facilitate the selection of the most suitable components for your application. Murata products in the SimSurfing tool include capacitors, EMI suppression filters, chip inductors, NTC thermistors and PTC thermistors.
For additional and more advanced SimSurfing functionality, along with other design support, engineers have the option to register for my Murata™, a membership-only portal site offering registered users premium content not available to visitors to our murata.com website. Examples of the content that is restricted to my Murata members includes Murata design tips, ideas, FAQs and manuals for addressing application challenges. Users who register with the my Murata Capacitor Site will have the ability request free samples from the capacitor product detail pages on the Murata web site.
Accessed from our website, www.murata.com, my Murata is currently available in English, Japanese and Chinese. Moving forward, the scope of products covered in my Murata will continue to expand, and new design support content is continually added over time.
