Newark stocking a range of Murata DC-DC converters

14 February 2024

Newark, a division of Avnet Inc., is now carrying a range of Murata power solutions for the industrial, energy and healthcare sectors.

The products added from Murata include the MGN1 series of DC-DC converters, designed for powering gate drive circuits for gallium nitride (GaN) in bridge circuits. The series is commonly used in switching speed GaN applications with ultra-low isolation capacitance and 250 V reinforced insulation.

The MGJ2B and MGJ1 SIP series of DC-DC converters are used for IGBT/SiC and MOSFET gate drivers in bridge circuits. Both converter series have a high isolation, continuous non-safety rating 2.4 V, reinfored insulation 300 Vrms. And dv/dt requirements for circuits used in motor drivers and inverters.

Other Murata series devices available from Newark include:

  • NME1
  • NMR1
  • NMV1

These series of devices extend operating temperature range that guarantees startup from 40° C up to 115° C.
