Here’s a new way to grow plants inside apartments or in small houses. LG Electronics is set to unveil at CES 2025 a floor-standing lamp design to expand personal horticultural systems for indoor gardening.

The lamp includes more growing space compared to previous indoor gardening appliances. This will allow users to grow a wider variety of plants and more complicated plants. The LED growing lights provide an environment for a range of different greens such as:

  • Herbs
  • Flowers
  • Fruits
  • Leafy greens

There are two types of lighting: downward-facing with five intensity levels for day-time growth; and upward-facing to create mood lighting for evenings. It contains a 1.5-gallon capacity water tank that automatically dispenses water for up to 20 plants. It can also be controlled through LG’s ThinQ smartphone app.

Additionally, LG plans to reveal another indoor gardening application that will include a nature-inspired side table design at CES 2025.

CES 2025 takes place Jan. 7-10, 2025, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
