It’s not too soon to mark your calendars for a trio of upcoming conferences for electronics professionals, all located at the Moscone Center in San Francisco: the Design Automation Conference (DAC), running July 10-14, 2022; the FLEX Conference & Exhibition, running July 11-14; and SEMICON West, running July 12-14.
First, DAC 2022, which is sponsored by the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). Recognized as the premier conference for design and automation of electronic systems, DAC offers training, education, exhibits and networking opportunities for designers, researchers, tool developers and vendors.
The conference hosts a diverse worldwide community from more than 1,000 organizations annually, represented by system designers and architects, logic and circuit designers, validation engineers, CAD managers, senior managers and executives, and researchers and academicians from leading universities. Close to 300 technical presentations and sessions are selected by a committee of electronic design experts to offer information on recent developments and trends, management practices and new products, methodologies and technologies.
Discounted advance registration rates are in effect through June 10. For more information, visit the DAC website.
Both the FLEX Conference & Exhibition and SEMICON West are organized by global industry association SEMI. Now in its 20th year, FLEX is focused on flexible hybrid and printed electronic products, equipment, processes and materials, along with the applications they enable. SEMICON West, billed as North America’s premier microelectronics exhibition and conference uniting players across the electronics manufacturing and design supply, will be presented as a hybrid event for 2022 including both an in-person schedule and online virtual accessibility.
Looking a bit further out, the International Test Conference (ITC) is also planned as a hybrid event, with the in-person component to be held at Disneyland in Anaheim, California, from Sept. 25-30, 2022. Billed as the world’s premier conference dedicated to the electronic test of devices, boards and systems, ITC offers an opportunity for test and design professionals to confront challenges faced by the industry — and to learn how they are being addressed by the combined efforts of academia, design tool and equipment suppliers, designers and test engineers.
