At the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2021, Infineon Technologies AG will introduce a handful of new technologies designed to improve passenger safety and in-cabin monitoring systems inside vehicles.

The XENSIV BGT60ATR24C radar sensor is a cognitive sensing device that is capable of multiple transmit/receive for virtual array configurations. The sensor is a highly agile modulation generation mechanism, automatic power mode configurability and interfaces between RF and the processing side.

The AURIX microcontrollers use a safety architecture that can be integrated into fast radar signal processing unit and enhanced security with the second-generation of the hardware security module (HSM).

The sensor-MCU combination allows for 60 GHz automotive portfolio for in-cabin monitoring system applications. The devices support new signal processing techniques for robustness and support for improved power consumption.

Mobile World Congress takes place in Barcelona June 28 through July 1.
