This series can also be used on PCBAs thicker than .150 in (3.81 mm) along with traditional board thicknesses.
The growing requirement for press-fit type ICMs is driven by the increased use of non-traditional applications in products that connect to the internet. There are also a growing number of applications where the PCBA layer count has increased, resulting in thick boards where normal solder lengths cannot be used. Bel Magnetic Solutions’ press-fit ICMs are compatible with all major Ethernet PHYs on the market and suitable for applications including single board computers, network adaptor cards and non-traditional equipment where an Ethernet port is needed.
