Mobile World Congress 2019: New 5G mmWave repeater and digital DAS platforms introduced

24 October 2019

Advanced RF Technologies Inc. has introduced a series of 5G mmWave repeaters, ADXD series of digital distributed antenna system (DAS) and mmWave support for ADXV series DAS.

The devices, introduced at this week’s Mobile World Congress 2019, will allow carriers and enterprises to build 5G in-building wireless connectivity for enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB), massive internet of things (mMTC), ultra-reliable low-latency communication (URLLC) and other digital applications for buildings of all sizes.

The all-in-one mmWave RF repeater brings robust in-building wireless coverage for small to medium size venues supporting 27.5 to 28.35 GHz. ADXD DAS provides a fiber-to-the-edge (FTTX) option to support multi-carrier 4G LTE and 5G high capacity and coverage connectivity needs for in-building networks.

Mobile World Congress is taking place in Los Angeles October 22-24, 2019.
