Infineon Technologies is coming to Sensors Expo 2019 and bringing with it a portfolio of sensors for healthcare, the internet of things (IoT) and personal systems.
Infineon said it will demonstrate its compact, low-power radar ICs, time-of-flight imaging sensors, microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) microphones and pressure sensors.
The company will demonstrate its 60 GHz single-chip radar that can detect micro motions for in-room lighting or can be used for health monitoring. Infineon will show a wearable armband that detects heartbeat and a remote sensor for tracking respiration rate. Infineon will also demonstrate its 3D time-of-flight imaging sensor that is sensitive to 940 nm infrared light for outdoor applications, and enables facial recognition in smartphones and replaces fingerprint authentication in notebooks.
Finally, Infineon will demonstrate the Xensiv DPS368 waterproof pressure sensor for wearables and drones that need to withstand harsh environments.
Sensors Expo 2019 takes place June 26-27 at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, California.
