Bel Magnetic Solutions announces dual port 1GBase-T 100 W 4-pair power over Ethernet, MagJack ICM

Bel Magnetic Solutions, a Bel group company and developer of MagJack Integrated Connector Modules (ICM), has introduced a maximum power 100W (1A), 1GBase-T, 1x2, power over Ethernet (PoE) ICM ideal for Source: Bel Magnetic SolutionsSource: Bel Magnetic Solutionstelecommunication and networking applications.

As power requirements for next-generation PoE products increase, Bel Magnetic Solutions MagJack ICMs meet these criteria by offering a two port, high power solution that transmits/receives 0 to 100 W of power per port over all four pairs within the Ethernet cable while maintaining the bandwidth of the Gigabit Ethernet signal. This gives users the ability to double the amount of power their products can manage over existing applications. These features along with industry standard footprints and pin-outs are well suited for network interface cards and products requiring smaller boxes, and 5G cellular switching applications. Bel Magnetics MagJack ICMs meet all IEEE 802.3 10/100Base-T through 1GBase-T electrical requirements and are compatible with all major 1GBase-T current-mode and voltage-mode PHYs.
